CHANGE TO KEEP WHAT WE LOVE.

Priorities.

Practical plans for our Town’s finances and future growth.

How We Spend

Respect Public Money.

Residents deserve to know what the Town can afford, which projects come first, and what today’s decisions will cost tomorrow.

  • Build a rolling five-year financial plan.
  • Align spending with core services and residents’ priorities.
  • Choose capital projects the Town can afford and deliver.
  • Give residents a voice and publish financial and project scorecards.

How We Grow

Plan First.
Build Better.

Growth needs a plan for housing, roads, water, wastewater and the natural places we value. We need to know how we’re paying for it.

  • Plan neighbourhoods and put zoning rules in place early.
  • Engage residents and protect natural assets from the start.
  • Know who pays for growth infrastructure—and when.
  • Make affordable and attainable housing easier to build.

How Town Hall Works

Residents First.

Residents deserve a real say, time to understand major proposals, and clear information about the decisions that affect them.

  • Advance the strategic review of how the Town makes decisions and engages residents.
  • Release important reports at least two weeks before major votes.
  • Keep Council business transparent and use closed meetings only when necessary.
  • Use Town newsletters to explain major projects, costs and choices before Council decides.
